After a few hours on the bus, a stop at an argan oil stall, we arrived at the Berber camp. We were explained that in Morocco there is two kinds of deserts. The rock desert and the sand desert.
The sand is the Sahara which is about 8 hour drive from Marrakesh. So they took us to the rock desert for a camel ( the camels in Morocco are smaller than the ones in Egypt)
We than watch the sun go down, our guides were respecting Ramadan, so they ate before we did. We were entertained by them with music and dancing.
Our meal consisted in a simple chicken tagine some couscous, a tomato salad and nectarines. It was good. After supper we were brought outside to a night fire with more dance and music. Than there was a fire handler to give us a show before we took the bus back to the city. Our only criticism is that we would have liked to learn more about these fine people. A bit of history would have been appreciated!
