Our train ride to Tanger

Marrakesh train station was very beautiful and modern. We rode the train from Marrakesh to Casa Blanca changed train to Tanger. All in first class. The first train was pretty old, we were sitting in a cabin of 6. The washrooms were pretty disgusting for the only factor that the toilet had a whole in the bottom. So whatever you were ejecting went directly on the tracks. The second one, the one were we took the picture, was more modern and went at a speed of 360 km/h +

It took all in all 5 hours to get to Tanger. We did not stay there at first though. We took a 2.5 hour cab ride to Chefchaouen. We actually took a cab to the grand taxi station, he tried to convince us to hire him to go directly to Chefchaouen but we were tightly sitting and pretty hot. We came to an arrangement with the grand taxi driver, we paid for 6 persons but there was only 4 of us. But that way we did not have to wait for 2 other people to want to go up the mountain with us. There was actually another cab with 4 looking for 2. It had to be filled first!!!

The mountain was beautiful and very green thanks to all the rain we got in the last 3 weeks.
